Fall Out Boy & New Politics at the WA State Fair

Many people were curious as to why Fall Out Boy and New Politics were not going to be stopping in Seattle on their upcoming tour after both bands had successful sold out shows here. Today, the announcement came that the reason was because they would be stopping in Puyallup on September 12th at the Washington State Fair (formerly known as the Puyallup Fair).

Pre-sale starts on April 2nd at 10am and tickets go on sale the public Saturday, April 5th at 10am. Tickets are GA and I expect them to sell out pretty quickly since many people were wondering when they were going to announce a Washington stop to their tour.

Hanging With Hoodie Tour

Yesterday afternoon, Hoodie Allen started tweeting hints about his upcoming spring tour. He said that it was going to be smaller, intimate shows, and that it would include a meet and greet for every person that purchased a ticket. This morning he released the dates for the tours and he will be stopping in Seattle on May 27th at the Crocodile.

Hoodie has always been a man about his fans. He has always made his meet and greets free and accessible to everyone. He has definitely been humbled by the experiences he has had as an artist. If you have never seen Hoodie Allen perform live, I would not miss the opportunity to see him. He has great energy and always puts on a great show.

Tickets go on sale this Wednesday at 10am.

Terrace, premier and gold camping passes have sold out for Paradiso!!! Standard camping is still available. Edit: I just learned that standard camping doesn’t ever sell out, there is an overflow area, but it is even father from the venue.

Your sasquatch post... that's old news...

I know. But I thought it should still be posted. Some people who aren’t going to Sasquatch might want to know about it if they haven’t already.

Sasquatch! Weekend 2 Cancellation

Earlier this week, the president of Live Nation announced that they were cancelling weekend 2 of Sasquatch! Music Festival during Fourth of July weekend because of low ticket sales. Sasquatch, which is usually a one weekend, 4-day event was changed to a 3-day festival because of the change to a two weekend festival. The cancellation isn’t a surprise because of the high cost of tickets for both weekends. Sasquatch has been a tradition for many for Memorial Day weekend, and the idea of extending it to two weekends did not sit well for many.

Artists such as Soundgarden, Tegan and Sara, Frank Ocean and Local Natives were planning on performing the second weekend. Hopefully though, many of the artists are going to be making arrangements to play at smaller venues to make up for the cancellation.

Ticketmaster is refunding half of the ticket prices to the credit card that was used to purchase the tickets. And some weekend 1 passes are still available if you are still considering attending.

I was wondering what you meant by tier 1 and tier 2 already being full?? About paradiso? I bought my ticket like three hours ago but it was just general admission right? I'm confused

Tier 1, 2, 3, and 4 are all general admission. But tier 1 started at $172 with fees. So after all the tier 1 GA sold out, then you could only buy from the price of tier 2, 3 and 4. So now you can only by from tier 3 and 4 now, and tier 3 with fees is $197.

Thank god. Wow thank you for being nice about it. I felt really dumb. When I was buying it (it was exactly the price you just said) I was just squinting my eyes and my heart was beating because it’s so much money. It’ll be worth it though :))

Always here to answer questions! It will definitely be worth it. With it being this much money, you know the production is going to be bigger and the other artists they are bringing are going to be huge. USC hasn’t disappointed us the last few years, so by the time you leave the Gorge on Sunday, your life will have changed. Also, don’t forget to buy your camping soon!
